Literature Text

I Drew your face on the wall,
Two Cold eyes..
Raised curly lashes..
A Roman nose..
A non-existent upper lip,
Long, slender neck..
.. dripped-dry hair clinging to your face.

The way you stared at me for hours,
It blew life back in me,
You were all quiet,
Were you too shy to say you missed me?
Maybe you were too ashamed to look me in the eye,
and say that you Love me?

Today, I’ll make you listen,
        Listen to what I say,
I’ll hold your hand and take your breath away.
I’ll run my fingers through your hair,
I’ll make all your fears disappear.

I’ll show you the curves in velvet,
         I kept, After you left.
And re-live the moments you promised me,
          When we first met.

I’ll whisper you a story,
                    I wrote to be true,
And take you to the temple
                       where I worshipped you.

And this time
                  you won’t walk away,
Because this is my story,
                            and I make you stay.
My Idea of Happy Ending...

if they happened more often they wouldn't be as special and no one would write such good poems about them
